The Power of Digital Literacy in Everyday Life

Name: Lady Love B. Estano/  Alberto Magno A. Sebusa III

Digital literacy means being able to use technology, especially computers, smartphones, and the internet, in a smart and safe way. It includes knowing how to search for information, use apps, understand online safety, and avoid things like fake news or scams. For me, it also means being responsible and respectful when using digital tools.

Being digitally literate is important in my life because I use the internet for school, communication, and learning new things. In school, I often need to research, join online classes, or submit assignments online. In the future, most jobs will need computer skills, so being comfortable with technology gives me a better chance of getting hired and doing well at work. I can help others become more digitally literate by teaching them how to use digital tools step by step. I can share tips on how to stay safe online and how to spot fake information. I can also guide them on how to use educational websites or apps. Helping others understand technology can make their lives easier and open up more opportunities for them, too.
