Teaching methods
Name: Alberto Magno A. Sebusa III BSED science3b
As a future teacher, I can use Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), or Project-Based Learning (PjBL) to make lessons more meaningful and connected to real-life situations. For example, in a science class, I could let students explore the issue of plastic pollution in their community. Through research, collaboration, and hands-on activities—like creating a recycling campaign or developing eco-friendly products—students would not only learn scientific concepts but also understand how their learning applies outside the classroom. These methods help students take ownership of their learning and see its relevance in the real world.
Using IBL, PBL, or PjBL can help me become a teacher who promotes curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. Instead of simply giving answers, I will guide students to ask meaningful questions, think critically, and develop their own solutions. These approaches encourage students to explore new ideas, collaborate with others, and apply what they’ve learned in innovative ways. Over time, this creates a classroom environment where students feel confident, engaged, and empowered to take charge of their learning.
